Mr. Leibowitz

Mr. Leibowitz graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1969 and has practiced law in Knoxville since 1970. He taught trial practice at the University of Tennessee College of Law from 1970-1972. He is admitted to practice law in all Tennessee State Courts and The Federal Courts for Eastern and Middle Tennessee as well as the Federal Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Leibowitz was a founding partner in the law firm of Leibowitz & Cohen and now has founded the Leibowitz Law Firm, PLLC.

Mr. Leibowitz is a Federal Court approved mediator and he served pro bono for 15 years as General Counsel to the Knoxville Bar Association.

Mr. Leibowitz is a Fellow of the Knoxville Bar Foundation. He is a member of the KBA Professionalism Committee and the Tennessee Bar Association Legislative Committee. Mr. Leibowitz has served as a Hearing Committee Member for the Board of Professional Responsibility. He is a member of the Tennessee Association for Justice and the Hamilton Burnett American Inn of Court.

Mr. Leibowitz received the Knoxville Bar Association Presidents Award in 2000 for outstanding performance and dedicated service to the Bar.
